Our Amazing Maize baby duvet is filled with our revolutionary maize fibre, which is both hypoallergenic and vegan. Our Amazing Maize duvet is made from 100% recyclable resources and is also 100% naturally degradable.  The duvet fabric is a 100% certified organic cotton, which is so tightly woven that house dust mites cannot penetrate it. You can therefore safely let your child sleep with our Amazing Maize baby duvet without fear of allergic reactions and with a clear conscience, because you have not only done something good for your baby, but also for our nature.

Our revolutionary product range Amazing Maize is our vegan alternative to duvets and pillows. Pillows and duvets are filled with 100% maize fiber, and have a 100% certified organic cotton fabric. The maize fiber has a long and hollow fiber structure, similar to a wool fiber, which gives the maize fiber its good temperature-regulating properties. The maize fiber is also water-repellent and ensures that the excess heat and moisture is channeled through the duvet instead of absorbing it. The duvet will therefore remain dry and comfortable throughout the night.

Our maize fiber is the first man-made fiber made from a 100% renewable resource. The maize fiber is made from lactic acid, which is extracted from the plant sugar in the starch of the maize plant during its fermentation process. The maize fiber therefore only contains naturally degradable and recyclable raw materials, which can either be reused or broken down into organic material. The maize fiber is our green answer to today's synthetic and oil-based plastic fibers, which cannot be broken down naturally and which are not recycled enough either, and therefore are a burden on the planet. The production of the maize fiber requires almost 70% less fossil fuels during production than with ordinary synthetic fibers, and is therefore described as the first greenhouse-neutral fiber ever created.

Be aware that it is not necessary to wash your Amazing Maize product before use since no chemicals or pesticides have been used under the cultivation and production.

To best maintain your Amazing Maize product, we recommend

• That you air your product regularly to maintain the fiber structure and to ensure a healthy sleeping environment.
• That you only wash your product if needed and at 40 degrees and maximum at 60 degrees. Also, at a low spinning to prevent fiber entanglement, but if the problem occurs, they are easy to pull apart.
• That you dry your product in the dryer with middle heath and wool dryer balls to reduce drying time and to make sure that the fibers are gently moved around. Do not use tennis balls since they will damage the fiber.
• That you wash your Amazing Maize product with a chemical free and gentle detergent, to be gentle to both your product and to the environment. Such a detergent could be our soapberries.
