This mattress 72x114 fits the Sebra, Baby & Junior bed that measures 72x114 cm. Note that this mattress do not fit the Kili bed, with which it is often mistaken. If you are in doubt you can see the difference. The Kili bed has Plexiglas around the end caps which you will not find on the Sebra bed.
It is possible to extend your mattress for Sebra bed when it is time to lengthen the bed from baby to junior size. Our mattress extension for Sebra, Baby & Junior bed measures 72x44 and fits perfect together with this kapok mattress. But be aware that our mattresses are made by hand and therefore can vary slightly in size. If you wish to add a kapok mattress protector for protection and extra comfort, we recommend you buying our mattress protector that measures 70x150 cm. Just fold the extra mattress protector below the mattress when the bed is baby size.
Kapok is a nature fiber, that is gatheret from kapok trees growing in the tropical rainforests. Our kapok products are filled with 100% natural kapok with a cover of 100% certified organic cotton.

Kapok contains a natural bitter substance that makes kapok resistance to bacteria and house dust mites. Also, the cover is woven so tightly that house dust mites cannot penetrate.

As with all mattresses, it is a good idea to set the mattress upright once in a while to air the mattress. If you have a bed with a plate bottom, pay special attention to getting the mattress aired regularly. These beds make transporting moisture away from the mattress more difficult. Kapok transports moisture and heat away from the child, but if the moisture cannot get away from the bottom of the mattress, the moisture is trapped between the mattress and the plate bottom. In worst case, fungal spores can be formed under the mattress. Unfortunately, this can happen to any mattresses. Therefore, ventilate the mattress once a week, or as needed.
